Five deaths and 704 new cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo

Five people have died within the last 24 hours in Kosovo, as a result of infection with Coronavirus, reports Insajderi.

This is announced in the latest announcement of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, which states that another 704 new positive cases have resulted during this time.

New cases of infection were recorded from a total of four thousand 291 samples taken for testing.

During the last 24 hours, 342 patients have been cured while the total number of cured people is  66,321 cases and the number of active cases is 11,736.

The total number of positive cases is 79,793 cases and 1,736 deaths.

“Positive cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 265 cases, Prizren 64 cases, Peja 44 cases, Mitrovica 43 cases, Gjilan 37 cases, Ferizaj 31 cases, Fushë-Kosovë 31 cases, Gjakova 31 cases, Podujevë 25 cases, Obiliq 24 cases, Kamenica 20 cases, Skenderaj 15 cases, Vushtrri 13 cases, Suhareka 9 cases, Klina 8 cases, Istog 7 cases, Rahovec 7 cases, Shtime 7 cases, Drenas 4 cases, Viti 4 cases, Dragash 3 cases, Kaçanik 3 cases, Malisheva 3 cases “Gracanica 2 cases, Lipjan 2 cases and with one case the municipalities of Deçan and Novobërdë”, it is said in the notification of NIPHK. /Insajderi.com
