The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has called on political parties to implement the recommendations and respect the restrictive measures for public activities, namely restrictions on the gathering of citizens and public gatherings, reports Insajderi.
This calling of the NIPHK came after numerous reactions as political parties have started holding campaign rallies on the eve of the elections, thus violating the anti-COVID measures.
“We call for the implementation of recommendations and compliance with restrictive measures for public activities, namely restrictions on gathering citizens and public gatherings. The gathering of citizens without masks and social distance increases the risk of spreading the infection, while the SARS-COV-2 virus is present among us”, it is said in the announcement of NIPHK.
“We appeal to the responsible institutions, namely the Kosovo Police and the responsible inspectorates to accurately monitor and take all necessary actions for the implementation of other measures and decisions in force pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Combating Pandemic in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo”, is further announced in the announcement.
