12 people have died within the last 24 hours in Kosovo as a result of infection with Coronavirus, reports Insajderi.
This was announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, where it is stated that 871 new positive cases with COVID-19.
New cases of infection were recorded from a total of five thousand 502 samples taken for testing.
During the last 24 hours, 642 patients have been cured while the total number of cured to date is a total of 80,132 cases, while the number of active cases is 14,120.
“The total number of positive cases is 96,212 cases out of 462,166 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,960 deaths,” reads the NIPHK announcement.
“Positive cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 249 cases, Prizren 93 cases, Ferizaj 89 cases, Gjilan 69 cases, Mitrovica 59 cases, Gjakova 44 cases, Peja 44 cases, Podujeva 32 cases, Vushtrri 29 cases, Fushë-Kosovë 26 cases, Kamenica 17 cases, Lipjan 17 cases, Obiliq 14 cases, Klina 11 cases, Malisheva 11 cases, Istog 10 cases, Kaçanik 9 cases, Shtime 9 cases, Viti 9 cases, Suhareka 7 cases, Drenas 6 cases, Dragash 5 cases, Rahovec 5 cases “Skenderaj 3 cases and one case each in the municipalities of Deçan, Hani i Elezit, Kllokot and Leposavic”, the institute informs. /Insajderi.com
