8 deaths and 709 new cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo

Eight people have died within the last 24 hours in Kosovo, as a result of infection with Coronavirus, reports Insajderi.

According to the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, another 709 new positive cases have been registered during this time in the country.

New cases of infection have resulted from a total of four thousand 388 samples taken for testing.

During the last 24 hours, 385 patients have been cured while the total number of cured to date is a total of 65,979 cases, while the number of active cases is 11,379.

The total number of positive cases is 79,089 cases and 1,731 deaths.

“Positive cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 242 cases, Gjilan 61 cases, Fushë-Kosovë 60 cases, Peja 51 cases, Gjakova 41 cases, Kamenica 41 cases, Mitrovica 35 cases, Ferizaj 33 cases, Podujevë 18 cases, Viti 18 cases, Obiliq 16 cases, Vushtrri 12 cases, Skenderaj 11 cases, Prizren 10 cases, Suhareka 10 cases, Drenas 9 cases, Lipjan 9 cases, Istog 6 cases, Novobërdë 6 cases, Klina 5 cases, Rahovec 5 cases, Deçan 4 cases, Shtime 3 cases and in one case the municipalities of Junik, Kaçanik and Kllokot ”, it is said in the notification of NIPHK. /Insajderi.com
