Eight people have died within the last 24 hours in Kosovo as they have not been able to cope with the Coronavirus infection, reports the Insajderi.
One of the dead is a 37-year-old from Peja.
This was announced in the latest announcement of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, which states that another 488 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered during this time period.
The new cases have resulted from a total of two thousand 886 samples taken for testing.
During the last 24 hours, 270 patients have been cured while the total number of cured to date is a total of 60,333 cases, while the number of active cases is eight thousand 236.
The total number of positive cases is 70,185 cases out of 313,132 persons and one thousand 616 deaths.
