The Acting President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, says that in today’s meeting held with the EU Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, required the EU to be vocal in relation to Serbia, in order for this state to implement the agreements signed in Brussels, reports Insajderi.
She further said that the EU integration process is among the main goals of the foreign policy of the Republic of Kosovo, confirming the will of the country’s institutions and all citizens for further advancement in this process.
“It is important to be aware that the lack of ambition or commitment on the part of each party in the European integration process means that the support and trust of citizens on the path to EU integration can be damaged,” said Osmani.
She reiterated the fact that the Republic of Kosovo has met all the formal criteria for visa liberalization for the Schengen area. She even praised the continuous support of the European Commission in finalizing this process, while asking for the help of the European Commission to convince EU member states for visa liberalization for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. /Insajderi.com
